| Position Description | |
| We seek a qualified individual to temporarily work with the National Wildlife Federation Great Lakes Restoration field manager and climate adaptation campaign manager, as well as other NWF staff and external restoration groups on efforts to implement the Great Lakes Restoration Initiative. The person in this position will be responsible for outreach to restoration groups focused on implementation of Great Lakes restoration programs in the region as well as tracking climate-smart elements of same programs. The position also includes research, writing and compiling outreach materials or information for distribution through list servs, websites, newsletters, fact sheets or for internal reports or compiled research for review by staff. In addition, this position will be responsible for some logistical and administrative tasks related to campaign events, workshops, or conferences. This position is responsible for assisting with implementation of restoration and climate-smart projects in the Great Lakes region. This will be accomplished through collaboration with on-the-ground groups and Coalition partners. This position's work will include a variety of outreach activities as well as some campaign related administrative and logistical tasks.

| Position Requirements | |
| Qualified candidates must have a B.A. or B.S. in natural resources or other related field, 1-2 years of environmental work experience, must be a pro-active communicator and team member. Knowledge of Great Lakes and experience with campaign outreach and handling logistics for campaign events and activities climate issues preferred. Solid writing skills are essential, research experience is a plus.
