Job Description


About the Role
  • Candidate should possess a hands-on IT technical background as well as an understanding of manufacturing execution and related business processes.

  • Knowledge of Computer Aided Process Planning and Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES) especially iBaseT Solumina.

  • General knowledge of ERP/MRP Systems.

  • Ability to analyze and diagnose the root cause of bugs or issues within software systems. This goes beyond simply documenting trouble tickets.
  • Write and understand queries written in Structured Query Language (SQL).

  • Familiarity with Oracle RDBMS.

  • Maintain and develop J2EE applications that support manufacturing operations.

  • Ability to understand and author solutions using Java, SQL, JSP, MVC and others.

  • General Understanding of our plant capabilities.

  • Support proposal development on Manufacturing related IT solutions.

  • Support manufacturing and divisional process improvement initiatives.

Qualifications Sought
  • Undergraduate degree in Engineering/ IT related fields (or equivalent) is required; additional graduate-level degree a plus.
