We are currently seeking a ServiceNow Developer to join our team in pittsburgh, Pennsylvania (US-PA), United States (US).

POSITION SUMMARY:

The ServiceNow Developer is responsible for working to develop, design and implement technical solutions on the ServiceNow platform. The ServiceNow Developer will provide application development, maintenance, and technical support through using web development programming techniques to build robust solutions for clients utilizing the ServiceNow platform.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Successfully plan, execute, monitor, control, and close all technical tasks related to development and implementation of all aspects of the ServiceNow platform. Provide software engineering and customization including, but not limited to: user experience and user interface design, workflow administration, report setup, data imports, integration, scripting, third party software integrations, and custom application development
  • Testing UI elements such as banners, page layouts, page designs, and page flows.
  • Develop and maintain a comprehensive test suite for ServiceNow instance upgrades with the purpose of detecting and preventing defects prior to implementation.
  • Coordinate and solve complex technical data and transformation issues.
  • Answer "how to" technical and application development questions.
  • Create and maintain system design and operations documentation.
  • Complete other duties as assigned.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS/QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Demonstrated ability to implement DevOps practices including Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment solutions at scale.
  • Proven experience in DevOps Practices and/or Lean Engineering principles strongly preferred
  • Ability to translate details into specific stories needed to accomplish a task or solve a problem
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including polished presentation skills with the ability to deliver technical issues to both technical and non-technical audiences in a clear and understandable manner.

NON-NEGOTIABLE HIRING CRITERIA:

  • 2 years+ experience across the full stack of Web technologies - Java, JavaScript, Angular.js, HTML and CSS
  • Experience in ITSM, ITBM, SecOps, GRC and Configuration Management
  • Experience investigating user experience design requirements
  • Demonstrated knowledge of the Agile methodology
  • Applies functional/technical knowledge to determine solutions and solves complex problems across departments
