Job Summary:

The Froedtert Health Virtual Clinical COR Manager oversees and supports the day-to-day operational activities in the Virtual Clinical COR. This individual must be able to apply principles of leadership and human relations in the overall supervision and coordination of patient care and personnel while maintaining unit-specific standards of practice based on current literature and professional standards of practice. This role serves to support the strategic alignment of digital health/virtual health clinical efforts across the Froedtert Health Enterprise for optimal positioning in targeting consistent high quality care delivery.

EXPERIENCE DESCRIPTION:

Approximately two-years clinical practice in a designated specialty to acquire and effectively utilize knowledge of unit and departmental policies and procedures, and to fulfill established quality and quantity standards for the job is required. In addition to minimum experience requirements, five years of leadership experience in a hospital setting is strongly preferred.

EDUCATION DESCRIPTION:

Professional knowledge of nursing theory and practice at a level normally acquired through completion of a program at an accredited School of Nursing is required. Bachelor's degree in nursing is required. Graduate degree in Nursing or Related Field is preferred.

SPECIAL SKILLS DESCRIPTION:

Proven leadership, facilitative and educational skills; Interpersonal skills necessary to instruct and maintain effective contacts with a variety of clinical, technical and ancillary personnel; Evidence of collaborative practice with nurses and physicians; Project management/process improvement experience; Effective change coping skills; Exceptional oral/written skill.
