The Clinical Assistant performs direct care to the assigned group of patients using basic administrative and nursing assistant skills and assists to maintain and acquire records and reports. This position requires population specific competencies. Adheres to National Patient Safety Goals as appropriate based on the level of patient contact this position requires. * 6 months of hospital or clinic experience as a Unit clerk or related role and/or have graduated from a medical assistant training program

* Knowledge of a Word and Excel

* Must be able to communicate effectively in English (verbal/written)
