Current Need:

We are seeking a Senior Analyst, Accounts Payable and SOX, in Irving, TX.

Position Description

The focus of Senior Analyst role is on data and financial analysis, and SOX (Sarbanes Oxley) compliance, testing, and controls. This role requires higher level competencies including analytics, communication, and an understanding of financial and accounting controls.

McKesson Financial Center offers a comprehensive suite of payables processes and controls utilizing technology that allows AP to effectively manage suppliers and ensure data integrity throughout the life cycle of transactions while reducing overhead costs.

Key Responsibilities:

Analyzes defects to detect patterns, determine root causes and implement resolution

Oversees SOX program for AP, proactively eliminating potential deficiencies, performing SOX testing, working with auditors, communicating AP controls, and remediation

Creates and leverages presentations and dashboards to communicate trends and opportunities

Pulls, analyzes, and consolidates data from different systems using multiple technologies to provide meaningful insights to business leaders

Leads and provides updates for projects to deploy new technologies, capitalize on business opportunities, and integrate acquired companies into new and existing systems

Builds strong working relationships with internal and external customers. Communicates opportunities for improvements and engages business partners in change implementation.

Provides management with appropriate data including summary, conclusion and recommendations

Understands and communicates multiple supplier processes and programs ensuring complete follow through with all vendor inquiries.

Serves as a liaison for multiple internal and external business partners to provide the highest level of customer service.

Demonstrates subject matter expert (SME) knowledge on Accounts Payable, including knowledge of accounts, contracts, financial status, account profile and trends thus providing customer satisfaction and supplier account management

Minimum Job Qualifications:

3 - 5 years of accounting experience or a degree in Accounting/ Finance with strong skills in analysis, communication, and leadership.

Critical Skills:

3 - 5 years of accounting experience

Familiarity with SOX and SQL required

Advanced Microsoft Office knowledge

Understands full cycle Accounts Payable, accounting policies, practices, and systems

Working knowledge of a major ERP (SAP, Oracle)

Strong skills in analysis, communication, and leadership

Ability to use data to tell a story and drive improvements and issue resolution

Additional Knowledge & Skills:

Effective verbal & written communication skills

Advanced business data interpretation

Actively solicits information and resources necessary to accomplish objectives

Proven ability to problem solve and present recommendation

Ability to work independently to complete tasks and projects timely

Ability to demonstrate high levels of accuracy and timeliness

Effectively organizes and prioritizes workload ensuring goals of each cross-functional area is supported

Education:

Degree in Accounting / Finance or related field or equivalent work experience

In addition to base pay, other compensation, such as an annual bonus or long-term incentive opportunities may be offered.

Our Base Pay Range for this position

$71,200 - $118,600
