Title: Corporate Controller
Position: 3:2 Hybrid. 3 days in office
Location: Troy, Michigan
Salary: $185-225K

Description
  • Lead and manage all aspects of the company's global accounting and reporting activities, including: Corporate Accounting, North American Shared Services, External Reporting and Capital Accounting and Forecasting.
Responsibilities:
  • Responsible for the integrity and accuracy of worldwide consolidated financial statements with full disclosure in accordance with U.S. GAAP.
  • Oversee and direct activities around monthly global consolidations.
  • Support the identification, evaluation, design and development of efficient processes and systems utilization, concentrating on compliance, risk mitigation, cost effectiveness and best practices for the global consolidation system
  • Establish and maintain a system of internal controls, including the financial reporting manual.
  • Provide account analyses as required to provide insight into operations and monitor financial risks and opportunities, making recommendations and taking action as appropriate.
  • Assist with the budget process and 5-year planning process
  • Lead and coordinate activities of external auditors for Tier1's consolidated financial statements, benefit plans, bank audits, and other reporting requirements.
  • Lead, mentor and develop all accounting team members.
  • Assist with special projects, as needed
Required Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in accounting. CPA and/or MBA required.
  • Minimum 15+ years of related experience required, including financial reporting, leading external annual audit, and corporate accounting.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong interpersonal and organizational skills.
  • Previous experience managing direct and indirect teams.
  • Demonstrated working knowledge and application of US GAAP
  • Experience with OneStream consolidation software preferred.
