Your Role

TheProduction Supervisor leads, guides, and develops our production teams to achieve daily targets within our multiple production areas. You will support the Production Manager and Production team with identifying and achieving goals'; support & ensure safety, quality, delivery and cost practices; and foster a "great place to work" environment.You will report to the Production Manager.

1st Shift Opportunity: 5:30am-2:30pm

2nd Shift Opportunity: 1:30pm-10:30pm

ESSENTIAL DUTIES:

  • You will provide daily direction to assigned personnel to ensure all daily deliverables and tasks, are completed following Operations KPI structure.

  • Ensure facilities have the trained, experienced staff and manufacturing resources to manufacture high quality products and ensure all customers receive high quality products per specifications and as requested to meet their production needs.

  • You will monitor and react to goals and anticipate issues

  • You will maintain an understanding facility processes and conditions

  • Create a 'center of excellence' ideology within Production through perfect visualization and 5S standards.

  • You will develop and follow a clear plan to bring all personnel to the expected skill levels necessary to operate the business at the targets set

  • You will help develop 'TPM' systems within Production and Maintenance teams.

  • Partner with Operations Managers to contribute to the Strategy, Master Schedules and Plans

  • You will support and develop the Production team to focus on the right projects, deliver promptly and benefit goals.

  • Consider and lead important activities within daily, short, mid, and long-term business growth.

  • You will provide leadership and support within the organization by utilizing Root Cause

  • You will support and encourage Production to investigate and identify new ideas to foster the spirit of Kaizen.

  • Attend and contribute to all relevant operations business reviews.

  • Must be open to shifts and overtime.


To succeed, you will need

REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS:

  • 2-3 years in a direct supervisor role, highly preferred
  • 3-5 years in a manufacturing leadership role required.

  • Must have excellent communication skills with the ability to presentto our internal and external customers in both written and verbal form

  • Logical and analytical thinking skills.

  • Experience working in a fast paced environment

  • Demonstrate time management, flexibility, and organizational skills.

  • Skillset to lead and motivate employee teams; develop positive employee relations.

  • Production planning and scheduling experience

  • Basic understanding and exposure to Lean Manufacturing tools and techniques

  • Experience with, and good understanding of high-volume production methods.

  • Experience managing budgets, KPI oriented and data driven

EDUCATION OR QUALIFICATIONS:

  • 2 or 4 year degree in business or manufacturing engineering preferred, or similar. Will consider successful work experience in manufacturing leadership role in lieu of education, minimum 3 years required.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS (AS APPLICABLE):

Must be able to move around a manufacturing site on a regular basis, between two site buildings.
