Job Summary:

This position is responsible for leading the analysis of marketing initiatives across national and local channels. They will leverage data to identify trends and patterns, providing actionable insights to optimize marketing strategies and improve overall business performance. They will be responsible for data collection, validation and uploads for a commercial mix modeling tool and conducting media plan simulations to provide recommendations for increased performance.

Job Description:

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES (other duties as assigned):
  • Utilize a commercial mix modeling tool to evaluate and identify future trends and projected business performance and optimize marketing strategies. Conduct simulations of media plans to provide insights and recommendations on media mix and investment strategies.
  • Use analytics techniques to interpret and drive meaningful insights from large data sets to provide actionable insights and recommendations for optimizing marketing initiatives. Identify opportunities to enhance marketing effectiveness and overall business performance.
  • Collaborate with key internal and external partners to ensure seamless data uploads to business intelligence systems and modeling tools. Validate and cleanse data to ensure data accuracy and integrity and create a reliable and accurate view of metrics. Work with internal stakeholders to streamline data processes and maintain data quality standards.
  • Create comprehensive and visually appealing reports and dashboards that effectively communicate key performance and metrics in a clear and understandable manner. Utilize the DOMO platform to customize cards that provide real-time insights to stakeholders.
  • Conduct pixel tracking audits between agencies and digital commerce team.

SCOPE & IMPACT:

This role directly contributes to the success of national marketing efforts and our company-owned Furniture Galleries network of stores through successful analysis, insights and recommendations. The national marketing plan drives impact across all sales channels and contributes $1.7Billion in annual sales. The company-owned FG network stores produces almost $900 Million in written sales annually. This role will work directly with many internal resources and up to 5 Agency partners to drive successful plans.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Data Analytics, or a related field with 2-4 years of experience, or equivalent
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving & critical thinking skills
  • Effective communication skills, with the ability to convoy complex findings to non-technical stakeholders
  • Travel Required: Up to 5%

PREFERRED REQUIREMENTS:
  • Experience as an analyst, with a focus on data analysis and interpretation
  • Experience with commercial media mix modeling
  • Experience with the DOMO platform or other business intelligence tools
  • Enthusiastic self-starter
