Location: Livonia, MI Shift: 1st; Monday-Friday Pay: $21.00-$30.50/Hr.
Provide general overall FM services with mail, shipping & receiving duties of a facility. Work with property managers to handle routine property management operations, including: procurement of property supplies and services, issuing purchase orders, manage bid requests and service/construction contractors, processing work orders and basic mail/shipping/receiving functions. This role provides a wide variety of support services to the client office and the successful candidate will be detail oriented with strong organizational skills and a team player attitude.
Administrative Function Assist Facility Management Team with tactical planning for the team's goals and objectives Provide facility specific assistance to the management team as needed or requested Manage and maintain small facility management tasks as assigned Coordinate meetings & special events in support of client or JLL Provide support for meetings and conference room reservations as needed and directed Assist with the coordination and scheduling of maintenance activities
Mail/Shipping/Receiving Receive, sort, process and distribute all incoming packages/pallets Process desktop shipping labels and validate documentation for outbound shipments Utilize scanners to scan and record all incoming and outgoing packages (internal and external). Prepare courier packages, coordinating pick-up and delivery, confirming delivery/receipt with appropriate stakeholders, and resolving any related issues in a timely manner Report defective materials or questionable conditions to the department supervisor.
Communication and Relationship Coordination Provide general overall facility management services including continuous monitoring of office/facility and inspections of the facility Act as an interface with client, visitors and guests Ensure appropriate follow up with customers Provide direction/information to vendors, facilities staff and service providers as required to ensure excellent coordination/execution of work within client environment with minimal disruption Compliance Properly and effectively administer and maintain all security systems Assist with budgetary requests, analysis and reporting Assist with researching, analyzing and reporting budget variances Maintain the work area in a clean and orderly condition and follow prescribed safety regulations Other Duties as assigned
Required Skills: Superior customer service skills and orientation to customer service Ability to maintain professionalism at all times under stressful situations Ability to multitask and work without daily direct supervision Proficient in MS Office, and possess strong written, verbal and people skills Strong organizational skills and collaborative style Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal. Must be able to present information in a clear and concise manner A high degree of accuracy is required for handling sensitive equipment and proper routing of shipments Ability to work in fast paced environment while managing multiple work streams and priorities Ability to frequently walk up and down stairs for inspections and emergency procedure practice or implementation Ability to detect emergency alarms - auditory and/or visual Ability to lift 30 lbs. repeatedly Lifting, bending, twisting and operating a manual pallet jack
