Job Description
Seeking experienced Chief Financial Officer Consultants for clients in the Northeast Wayne Country, MI area to be engaged on an interim basis. As a Chief Financial Officer Consultant, specific roles with clients and position responsibilities will vary from engagement to engagement. Objectives/Responsibilities May Include:
  • Create, develop and implement strategic growth plans and initiatives
  • Research revenue opportunities and economic trends, including analysis of internal operations, while identifying areas for cost reduction and process enhancement
  • Perform risk management through analysis of company liabilities and investments, and evaluate and manage capital structure and fundraising initiatives
  • Work cross-functionally to efficiently develop company budgets and forecasts, provide access to project finance information, and provide oversight of risk compliance and reporting
  • Monitor business performance with tracking tools, establish corrective measures as needed, and prepare detailed reports for internal and external stakeholders
  • Create and implement KPIs across the organization as appropriate
  • Manage finance personnel and oversee financial IT systems, ensuring compliance with relevant regulatory entities
  • Oversight of HR operations including payroll, benefits, recruitment, and internal staffing
  • Experience creating and cultivating a collaborative environment, fostering a high-performance culture through, coaching, training and development
  • Other duties as assigned

Requirements/Qualifications/Preferred Skill
  • Five or more years of experience in executive leadership roles
  • Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or related field required
  • Master's degree in accounting, finance, business administration or related field highly preferred
  • CPA, CMA or CGMA certification a plus
  • Experience adhering to GAAP required; IFRS experience desired.
  • Prior P&L ownership experience and experience with mergers and acquisitions, as well as investor relations preferred
