Role Summary

Rivian Sales is seeking a Sr. Lead, Sales Incentives and Channel Strategy to support the planning and implementation of new campaigns and incentive programs across the Rivian sales structure.

As the Sr. Lead, Sales Incentives and Channel Strategy, you will partner with multiple internal stakeholders to concept, pitch, stand up and monitor the success of initiatives to build loyalty and promote Rivian. To be successful in role, you'll be detail-oriented and data-driven. You face complex problems with enthusiasm and a collaborative ethos. You will leverage a customer-centric mindset to drive implementation and align to organizational KPIs.


Responsibilities

  • Work with Sales leadership to define objectives on a quarterly basis
  • Design, program management, and implementation of all sales campaigns, customer incentives, and sales channels
  • Monitor and evaluate the performance of initiatives on a monthly, quarterly, and annually basis, making adjustments as necessary to drive desired outcomes
  • Prepare regular reports and presentations to communicate program results and recommendations to senior leadership, stakeholders, etc.
  • Strategic partnerships/collaboration to support a multi-channel sales approach
  • Conduct market research to identify trends and opportunities in sales channels and incentives
  • Stay informed about industry trends, best practices, and regulatory requirements related to sales incentives
  • Sales team incentive structure support including spiffs
    • Including long term incentive programs that champion annual company goals - inclusive of program policy implementation, commission drafts, tracking success, pay out management, and any change management plans
    • Including short term incentive programs to boost campaigns sales team targets in a given time frame - inclusive of development of guidelines, tracking of success, pay out management, and communication plans.
  • Use the organization's objectives and priorities to support campaigns crafting roadmaps and provide feedback to support work partners such as marketing, business operations, field sales, inside sales and fulfillment
  • Drive campaigns, initiatives, and new programs from idea to implementation to further support sales strategy and conversion
  • Facilitate meetings and project workstreams to communicate needs and rollout new initiatives on an on-going basis
  • Engage with customer facing teams to educate, train, and build relationships
  • Develop and drive project specific roadmaps to support and hold true to deadlines using program management tools (such as Confluence, Smartsheet, and Sharepoint)
  • Ensure outcomes, quality metrics, and tactical milestones meet established goals
  • Collate current performance trends, market behaviors, and organizational objectives to pitch new initiatives and gain intra-team support
  • Own record-keeping and shared ownership of audit mechanisms for incentive programs with various stakeholders, such as business planning, finance, analytics, accounting and marketing


Qualifications

  • Ability to multitask and prioritize in an ambiguous, fast-paced and iterative environment
  • 3-5 years of experience in Automotive sales leadership & planning at the OEM level
  • Call center operations, and/or program management experience is a plus.
  • Experience and familiarity with sales incentives, leasing and residual value risk.
  • Analytical mindset- able to use data to determine best path forward
  • Salesforce experience
  • An innovative, customer-centric mindset and approach
  • Ability to travel up to 30%
