Compliance Management Representative III -- Issue & Change Management Business Analyst
The Compliance Business Analyst is responsible for various duties related to GES's Issue and Change Management Compliance Management System Procedures. Responsibilities include the lifecycle of an Issue in the Bank's Issue Management tool (Archer). This includes initial input, making the required updates, working with stakeholders to a build remediation plan(s) and preparing and submitting Issue closure packages. In addition to the requirements as outlined in Archer for Issue Management, this position must possess the analytical ability to document and issue and develop remediation plans. This will include ability to interact with internal partners within the business unit, Payments Risk, Compliance and legal counsel as well as third party vendors. As a result of Issues identified, Changes as governed by Change Management will be required to be managed and the associated risk assessments including business unit impact.

Position Responsibilities:
  • Ensuring all required information / updates in Archer are current and not past due.
  • Responsible for Issue opening in the Archer tool (Enterprise Issue Management tool).
  • Analyze and validate information and data to assist in root cause analysis and/or identification.
  • Development of business requirements to solve potential coding/process issues.
  • Act as a project manager to ensure key tasks are identified and completed.
  • Testing and validation of potential code / process changes as required.
  • Develop remediation plans and closure packages.
  • Maintaining retention of all Issue and Change Management documentation in SharePoint.
  • Complete Change Management Risk Assessments.
  • Collaborate with Payments Risk partners in Issue Management and Change Management process steps.
  • Provide status reporting of Issues to leadership on a monthly basis.
  • Monitor and ensure proper controls are in place to identify and mitigate compliance risks that may lead to regulatory, reputational, or financial exposure.
  • Develop ad hoc senior management presentations that showcase trends, patterns of concern, or other relevant information.
  • Possess or develop a working knowledge and understanding of consumer regulations especially the Prepaid Rules and apply the knowledge to ensure the program is following all regulations.

Position Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or 4 year of experience solving complex customer issues
  • 3 years of experience working with customers or vendors on strategic or tactical customer initiatives
  • 3 years of experience working with investigative techniques and methods as in an auditing or compliance role
  • 3 years of experience working with the application of policies and procedures to retail customer activities
