We are seeking to hire a Blue Yonder Systems Engineer to join our team. The role will play an integral part in the successful implementation and sustainability of our new Blue Yonder WMS. This position will be a hybrid role based out of our Auburn Hills, MI. The Blue Yonder Systems Engineer responsibilities include:

• Collaborating with developers and designers to conceptualize and develop functionality in the JDA WMS application
• Assisting with defining software development including; scoping, scheduling and implementations
• Assisting with the definition, development and documentation of the software's business requirements, objectives, deliverables, and specifications on a project-by-project basis.
• Recommending, scheduling and performing software improvements and upgrades
• Writing, translating, coding JDA software programs and applications according to specifications
• Training, managing and providing guidance to the junior software development team

• Must be able to travel on short notice. Travel up to 35%

Required Position Qualifications

• A degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science, Mathematics or related fields.
• 3+ years relevant work experience (WMS, Logistics, Warehouse Management)
• Hands on experience with JDA's Warehouse Management System solution
• As well as formal qualifications, a Software Engineer job description should emphasize an importance
• Relational Database experience with Oracle PL/SQL and SQL Server
• A passion for solving problems and providing workable solutions
• Knowledge of algorithms and data structures
• Strong analytical and reasoning skills with an ability to visualize processes and outcomes
• Proficiency in troubleshooting software issues and debugging a large codebase
• Outstanding all-round communication skillsand ability to work collaboratively.
• Must be able to travel on short notice. Travel up to 35%

Preferred Position Qualifications

• Hands-on experience developing test cases and test plans
• Thorough understanding of platforms such as UNIX and Microsoft Windows
