Technology Business Strategy Analyst


The Technology Business Strategy Analyst performs various functions to the Technology/Enterprise Security Development Program Manager. Duties primarily consists of executing business processes through routine application along with gathering and maintaining information used for business analysis. The Technology Business Strategy Analyst will assist with coordinating activities of the team and complete project deliverables while maintaining, tracking, and storing key documentation.

The Technology Business Strategy analyst will be assigned responsibilities by the program manager to help the organization achieve its goals. They will be responsible for running small initiatives that feed into larger, complex initiatives within Tech Shared Services.

Position Responsibilities:
Strategic Coordination

  • Gather various data inputs to be used for analytics and reporting.
  • Maintain constantly changing data in a simple and organized way.
  • Coordinate team tasks and activities.
  • Tracks status of requests and approvals.
  • Analyze documentation to maintain consistency of content and approach.
  • Responsible for collaboration management and follow-up.

Strategic Execution

  • Define plans for delivering on small strategic initiatives.
  • Take lead, with minimal guidance, to execute delivery of small initiatives.
  • Determine critical data inputs to be used for analytics and reporting.
  • Work closely with others to solve problems of minimal complexity.
  • Complete assigned tasks under minimal direction of manager in accordance with published Comerica policy and standards.

Collaboration

  • Develop working relationships with business partners and Technology representatives to gain understanding and assist in identifying requirements.
  • Ensure initiative stakeholders are aware of the status of assigned deliverables.
  • Work in collaboration with more senior colleagues and specialists on innovative application of technical proficiency.

Communication

  • Ensure Technology Business Management is aware of the status of assigned deliverables.
  • Provide timely feedback to the Resource Manager on the effort remaining on assigned tasks to maintain appropriate forecasting.

Position Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business, Communication, or other relevant area -- OR -- High School/GED with 6 years Progressive Relevant Experience
  • 2 years of Experience working in a team setting to plan and deliver small strategic initiatives.
  • 2 years of Experience with data analytics and providing insights and recommendations
  • 2 years of experience working within SharePoint, social technology platforms, techniques, and strategies
  • 1 year of SharePoint Experience.
