AFSVision Transformation -- Syndications Lead
The AFSVision Syndications Lead is responsible for driving the transformation and design associated with syndicated and participated loan portfolios. This includes operating across multiple workstreams that are necessary for servicing Syndicated/Participated loans where Comerica is agent or a member in the deals. Specifically, this includes capture of business requirements across all stakeholder groups, process design, operational readiness, implementation readiness and post implementation operations stabilization. This leader will serve as an expert in conversions to AFSVision for Syndicated loans (including Syndications Servicing and the AFSVision Deals Origination workflows) as well as the business capabilities and component that comprise an industry leading syndicated commercial loan servicing organization including (loan closing, booking, member bank communications/noticing, deal balancing/reconcilement, monetary processing, account servicing functions, collateral management, document and image management, data management, etc).
Position Responsibilities:
Program Planning/ Execution
  • Provide expert leadership and oversight in the Operations execution Syndicated Loan Portfolio
  • Work effectively with internal users, external third parties.
  • Build and execute effective Operational readiness plan for this population, including of ensuring communication and updated to member banks and Agent banks as appropriate.
  • Serve as primary point of contact/lead for all Syndications process efforts related to the program.
  • Work effectively with technology organization to ensure solutions are fit-for-purpose, scalable and achievable within budget and timeline.
  • Managing complex multi-function delivery relationships with executive leadership, establish relationships of trust with management and colleagues; and driving consensus across the organization on difficult topics.
  • Proactively manage program risks and risk mitigation plans.
Business Process Design Lead and Readiness Activities
  • Ensure transformative business requirements are developed and future state processes designed to meet business benefits and transformational goals.
  • Ensure business processes meet future state risk management and control environment expectations.
  • Work with BAU staff to current existing issues and data gaps t ensure clean conversion.
  • Work with team to update deal administrative details.
  • Coordinate with overall Program to ensure this functionality blends seamlessly with overall design and capabilities.
Stakeholder Management
  • Interact and liaise with senior leaders across the bank in the commercial bank, wealth, retail/small business, technology, enterprise risk management, internal auditing, payments, treasury, finance/accounting and other teams.
  • Ensure program needs are understood and considered in future state design.
    Work with partners on pre-implementation requirements.
  • Serve as SME on training and procedure development efforts.

Position Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's Degree from accredited University
  • 10 or more years of experience in Commercial Loan Operations with mid to large bank
  • 3 years of experience in AFSVision
Livonia Operations Center
8:00am - 5:00pm Monday - Friday (This position offers a hybrid work model that includes onsite and remote days as determined by the manager.)
