They will focus on strong and consistent production results by servicing and originating mortgage loans for individuals in low and moderate income and minority neighborhoods. Their communication and interpersonal skills will be essential to assist in the discovery and financial education process of many of their customers and prospects.
This position is subject to the Dodd Frank/Truth in Lending Act qualification requirements for Loan Originators. As such, an employment offer for this position is contingent on FMB's review of your criminal conviction history, credit report information available through NMLS.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Position Requirements:
Education - High school diploma or equivalent (GED).
Experience - Two (2) plus years in one of the following fields; mortgage lending, consumer lending, credit counseling or homeownership counseling.
Other - None.
Preferred Requirements:
Understanding of conventional and/or government lending guidelines.
Understanding of residential first time home buyer processing, underwriting and closing process.
Experience presenting financial education workshops with a focus on low and moderate income and minority.
