Job Description

The Stellantis Portfolio Planning - Customer Insights Student Program allows individuals to gain experience and exposure across the many different facets of a strategic enterprise. Within the program, students will support research and insights across many brands - Jeep, Dodge, Chrysler, Ram, Fiat, Alfa - and functions - EV, autonomy, software.

The Customer and Market Insights organization at Stellantis is a critical group within Portfolio Planning at Stellantis. We inspire new products, marketing, and experiences through a deep understanding of human needs, attitudes, and behaviors. Our work is focused on the U.S. market, but we work closely with regions around the world. We use a full toolbox of proven and innovative new methods and tools, from deeply immersing with consumers through ethnography to online research communities and complex product tests. Each team member covers all aspects of consumer insights, working with outside research vendors, for a particular brand or subject area.

The Customer Insights student will participate in the evaluation of market trends as well as analysis of consumer opinion data and competitive products/actions to find the company's next opportunity. The student will also support aspects within the research process from helping to design, execute and analyze consumer research, and transform the results into insights, implications and recommendations to help drive strategic decisions.

The position provides students an opportunity to work year-round in a part-time role. Our program requires students to work 24 hours a week during normal business hours Monday-Friday. There may be an opportunity to expand summer work hours to 40 hours per week.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Pursuing a Bachelor's degree or Master's degree at an accredited university
  • Ability to work 24 hours per week, year-round

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Currently a Sophomore or Junior at an accredited university at the time of hire
  • Pursuing a degree in Business, Market Research, Social Sciences, Mathematics/Statistics or related field
  • GPA of 3.0 or higher (based on a 4.0 scale)
  • Strong interest in automotive industry
  • Demonstrates critical thinking and problem-solving skills
  • Strong written and oral communication skills
  • Good interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work in a team environment
  • Creative / resourceful information mining and data analytic skills
  • Advanced analytical skills
  • Proficient in using Microsoft Office, especially PowerPoint and Excel
  • Creative and innovative thinker
