Provide leadership, direction, and management to all employees of the site and oversee all aspects of day to day operations.
QUALIFICATIONS:
A Master's Degree in health/human services field or Bachelor's Degree with equivalent experience
Appropriate State of Michigan substance abuse credentials
At least four (4) years of successful supervisory experience
Good communication skills
Valid Michigan Chauffeur License and approved by The Salvation Army MVR
T.B. test, police clearance, and MDOC LEIN clearance required
REPORTS TO: SYSTEM ADMINISTRATOR
SERVICE RESPONSIBILITIES:
Provide leadership in the development and implementation of a Strategic Plan that includes operational goals, objectives and evaluation
Assure delivery of services in a cost-effective/efficient manner
Develop and implement programs as planned
Assist in preparing, implementing, and maintaining a budget
Knowledge of existing contracts and their requirements
Act as a liaison to all funding sources as necessary to assure provision of client services
Represent The Harbor Light in community functions and/or committees, as necessary
Submit all reports accurately and in a timely manner
Serve as a member of the Quality Improvement Committee, Executive Administration, and other committees deemed necessary by the Executive Director
Participate in educational courses, seminars, workshops, current literature, and in-service meetings to enhance treatment programming
Provide for client safety, security, and services
Monitor compliance of Harbor Light policies and procedures across all staff levels
Oversee all maintenance and housekeeping activities
Respond to all site emergencies, following the approved Policies and Procedures of The Harbor Light
Maintain accurate documentation regarding supervised staff
Verify and approve hours worked for employees and submit information to the payroll person in a timely manner
