Inside the Role

Axle Maintenance Technicians are responsible for installing, troubleshooting, maintaining and repairing production machinery

Pay Rate: $33.80/Hr
  • Shift Premium for 2nd and 3rd shifts
  • Avg 15 paid holidays per year

  • General Maintenance
  • Machine Repair
  • Service, troubleshooting and repair Electrical/Mechanical Systems
  • Maintenance Process Heating/Cooling Systems
  • Pipefitting
  • Welding
  • Common lifting, transport and rigging trade specific material

Knowledge You Should Bring

  • GED or High School Diploma is required
  • Certified Journeyperson card holder or ability to document 8 years of experience
  • Ability to read blueprints
  • Ability to work with Engineers and Service Technicians on a regular basis
  • Experience with electrical and/or mechanical maintenance and repair
  • Experience performing planned maintenance of industrial equipment
  • Experience with machining processes, including tool change and setup
  • Experience with PLC and/or CNC controlled equipment
  • Knowledge of gauge methods
  • Experience making manual corrections to a CNC controlled machining process
  • Basic knowledge of computer
  • Knowledge of lock-out procedures
