Summary
Will perform CNC Operations within the Small Value Stream Machining Operations
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Set up and operate CNC Lathe, Mill and Saw
Operate multiple machines simultaneously in a cellular configuration within the department
Perform in-process inspections using a variety of measuring equipment and obtain first piece
Produce parts by interpreting and understanding drawing requirements
Perform specialty programming or set ups
Record labor and other production information on Hour-by-Hour sheets
Follows all safety and work rules
Performs other duties as assigned

Demonstrated mechanical aptitude
Ability to understand and follow work instructions
Basic computer skills in Microsoft Word & Excel

Education and Experience Requirements
Must have a High School Diploma or equivalent
At least 1 year experience in a manufacturing precision machining environment
Knowledge of G&M Codes
Experience with manual turning/milling or drilling or CNC mill, lathe, broach and drilling is required
Experience with a Key Seater is preferred
Proficient knowledge of GD&T and drawing reading skills
Experience with machine tools and inspection tools such as gauge blocks, dial indicators calipers and micrometers.
Insert tooling nomenclature
Ability to understand and follow work instructions
Good communication skills and teamwork are essential
Physical Demand and Work Environment:
Must be physically able to lift up to 50 pounds frequently
Use of hand tools and the ability to use material handling devices
Must be able to sit / stand for long periods of time as necessary in the work area
Ability to reach and work with arms extended
