Job/Internship Description


The Supply Chain Internship opportunity allows a creative individual to document the current business processes and suggest improvements with a focus on unallocated production/inventory. The role will require someone that is detailed oriented to capture data and document then ultimately present the findings to Senior Management within Supply Chain, Sales and Plant Operations.   • Develop an understanding of Supply Chain, Plant Operations and Sales Processes.
  • Deep dive into the reason(s) why unallocated inventory is produced by looking at individual skus and tracing the data trail around why the production is unallocated through working with key individuals and business systems.
  • Present findings at the end of the internship which demonstrates the source(s) of unallocated inventory along with observations/discussions with supply chain, plant and sales personnel.


  • Orientation and connected food system overview, with exposure and understanding of core areas of the business, including support departments
  • Specific hands-on technical training in areas of interest and skills, depending upon needs
  • Supervisory, leadership, communication and problem-solving training

  • At least a junior majoring in Supply Chain, Business Administration, Finance, Marketing, Business Analytics, or Information Systems with a minimum 3.0 GPA
  • Experience or completed coursework in project/program management
  • Must demonstrate proficient computer skills with Microsoft applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Visio)
  • Must be detailed-oriented and have ability to prioritize multiple tasks proactively and effectively
  • Ability to effectively communicate with contributors at all levels within an organization
  • Available for 10 to 12 weeks of your summer
