Position Summary:
Monitors quality control prior to releasing routes. Communicates with Switchers when routes are completed and cleared for release. Uses RF equipment to scan all miscellaneous repack items to correct status. Stages and delivers repack, mail and machines to designated ship lanes.
Essential Functions:
Monitors the quality of the load prior to releasing the route.
Communicates clearly with the Switcher when routes are released and doors are locked.
Uses RF equipment to scan miscellaneous repack to correct status.
Sorts and delivers chemical beverage machines and GFS company mail to correct routes.
Delivers repack to correct ship lanes.
Completes housekeeping activities on a daily basis.
Adheres to the Mission and Cornerstone Values and applicable practices of the organization.
Performs other duties as assigned.
Knowledge / Skills / Abilities:
Knowledge of warehouse RF system.
Must be able to communicate clearly in a professional manner.
Employees in all warehouse positions must be able to immediately perceive auditory warning signals such as bells, alarms, and horns that are used to warn employees of the startup, movement, or approach of equipment ( including forklifts, turrets, overhead cranes, conveyors, trucks, and other equipment operated inside or outside the warehouse), mechanical abnormalities, and similar risk situations during warehouse operations.
