About the Sales Human Resource Team: 

NETSCOUT is looking for a Human Resources Intern to provide project based administrative support to the Sales Human Resources team. In this role you will learn how to track a variety of employee information, conduct an internal analysis in which the findings will be used in connection with ongoing internal HR audits. The individual should be self-driven, proactive, and eager to learn about NETSCOUT processes and compliance of Company policies and procedures.  We are looking for someone who is very detail focused and can apply professional writing and presentation skills to assist with HR projects in a fast-paced IT company. An ideal candidate is one who is ready to take on a new challenge, have an inquisitive mindset, and can think out of the box when it comes to research and analysis responsibilities assigned.

Basic Qualifications/Skills: 

  • Provide and administrative support to Sales Human Resources Business Partners (HRBP’s).
  • Will provide assistance to various Human Resources related projects and aid in other HR responsibilities as needed.
  • Research and become familiar with NETSCOUT Company policies and processes.
    • As part of an internal analysis, determine manager and employee compliance of Company policies and procedures.
  • Generation and updating of Excel spreadsheets, for purposes of record keeping and to document a variety of sensitive information.
  • Able to maintain high level of confidentiality when working with sensitive personal and employment information.
  • Attend department and company-wide meetings
  • Will be mentored and coached by the HR Manager – HR Business Partner for the Sales Organization.

Preferred Qualification/Skills: 

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • High standards of professional and business acumen and integrity.
  • High level of attention to detail and confidentiality.
  • Ability to apply HR knowledge related to policy and procedures to present complex information obtained through the audit process in an organized fashion.
  • Self-Disciplined and Self-Motivated
  • Fully computer literate.  Proficiency in MS Office Suite highly desired.
  • Social media skills a plus
  • Strong organizational skills.

An ideal candidate for the HR intern position is pursuing an academic degree in HR, Business, or relevant fields. Junior or Senior level candidate highly desired. Familiarity with IT/Technology industry is also a plus.
