Role

  • Support advanced technology team in the definition & development of new display related technologies.
  • Support prototyping activities associated with demonstration of next-generation technologies
  • Interfacing with technical contributors for mechanics, electronics, software, optics and manufacturing around the globe.
  • The intern will support innovation Project Leaders to define the scope of innovation projects, to execute according to a development plan, and to realize the deliverables of the project. Deliverables may include simulations, test reports, or even fully functional proofs of concept.
  • The intern will support the system bring up and integration activities, co-working with offsite contributors in Europe and Asia.
  • Conduct technology and market trend research.
  • Gain knowledge on Liquid Crystal Display (LCD), Organic Light Emitting Diode (OLED) Displays, Micro LED displays, optical systems, and more.

Requirements

To be a good fit the candidate should have:

  • Must be currently enrolled in an undergraduate degree program with an anticipated graduation date of no later than May 2024
  • Significant coursework in, or experience with mechanical, computer, or electrical engineering concepts.
  • Demonstrated academic excellence; GPA of 3.0 or higher
  • Strong attention to detail and organization.

Desired Competencies:

Demonstrated skills and abilities as might be expected from a person with:

  • Hands-on design, simulation and/or testing experience optical systems through classwork or research projects.
  • Proficiency Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
  • Experience in engineering design and CAE tools
  • Effective communication within a global, multi-culture team environment
