Senior SAP SD & EDI Analyst

REMOTE or Manchester, MI

Position Overview:

Provide support for Amcor's SAP/EDI processes by gathering requirements Supply Chain or Finance or other business partners and then writing specifications for an SAP developer, performing SAP configuration, developing EDI maps in Seeburger BIC MD, and updating Seeburger processes/configuration in BIS Front End.

Essential Responsibilities and Duties:

  • Provide day-to-day support for Amcor internal customers in North America and LATAM, as well as external partners for SAP EDI and Seeburger systems, including P2P, QTC, and other processes.
  • Should be familiar with SAP P2P and SD processes in order to support users and test processes.
  • Work with various levels of Amcor's Business with minimal direction, support or supervision.
  • Perform SAP configuration activities and maintain master data related to SAP EDI to support daily operations as well as enhancement projects. Knowledge of SAP Batch job scheduling and maintenance.
  • Work with Amcor's Server team, Network/Security team, the SAP Applications team, as well as 3rd party teams to manage Seeburger server/application functionality during outages, upgrades and new implementations.
  • Use Seeburger BIC MD to develop and manage source documents and maps for X12 documents including 850, 860, 855, 856, 810, 204, IDocs, XML, flatfile conversions and other conversions, as requested.
  • Use Seeburger BIS Front End to set up connectivity, partners, entities and other attributes required for processing data inbound or outbound.
  • Knowledge of FTP, FTPs, SFTP, AS2, Fileshare, PGP Encryption, Webservices, API.
  • Familiarity with SQL Server and writing/executing queries to help with troubleshooting problems.
  • User Seeburger BIS Front End and Message Tracking to handle Seeburger conversion/communication/process errors from start to finish, as well as provide user support & communication for SAP IDoc errors that may or may not be able to be resolved by the users in SAP.
  • Plan, Develop, Test, Implement, and provide ongoing support for all recommended changes and requested enhancements related to Seeburger EDI / File transfers.
  • Prepare system change requests. Create usable Work Instructions for the internal customers. Properly communicate status to the management team.
  • Support any and all new or adhoc requests from across the organization with regard to interfaces and file transfers.

Qualifications:

  • Education:Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
  • 8+ years as an EDI Analyst, SAP Consultant, or in a closely related occupation involving SAP ECC
  • 2+ years working with SAP QTC and P2P
  • 2+ experience working with Seeburger
  • 3+ years handling Production support issues around Middleware and SAP
  • Experience with Informatica is a plus
